2. Know Your Delivery Timeline
International shipping takes time — plan ahead, especially for weddings or events.
Standard delivery to USA: 7–10 business days transit (USPS/UPS)
Standard delivery to UK: 7–10 business days transit (USPS/UPS)
Standard delivery to Canada: 7–10 business days transit (USPS/UPS)
Express shipping: 3–5 business days transit (DHL, available at checkout)
Dispatch time: Ready-made 3–5 business days, custom/alterations 5–7 business days
Rule of thumb: Order at least 6–8 weeks before your event. For big wedding seasons (November–February), order earlier.
3. Import Duties and Customs
Indian ethnic wear shipped internationally may be subject to import duties depending on the declared value and your country's threshold.
USA: Orders under $800 are generally duty-free (de minimis threshold)
UK: Orders under £135 are VAT-free for personal imports
Canada: Orders under CAD$20 are duty-free; higher thresholds apply depending on country of origin

Many Indian garments are sold both stitched (ready-to-wear) and unstitched (fabric only, for a tailor to sew). For NRI shoppers, stitched is generally the better choice — you won't have an Indian tailor on speed dial in Chicago or London.

6. The Unboxing Video Rule
